Warren is Running his first ever 10K for Reach

As part of my plan to move from obese couch potato (2 years ago), through fat walker (1 Year ago), through fat jogger (6 months ago) to overweight runner (now, I think!), I have been challenged by one of the team at McCleary & Company to run the Lisburn 10K. Not wanting to shirk a challenge, even though it originally related to last year's race, I've entered this year's race!

I thought that since I'm making the effort, that I should attempt to collect a few pounds for a worthwhile cause. I've chosen Reach, who are a local charity doing great work mentoring young people who find themselves in difficult circumstances. REACH

We currently mentor 350 young people every week, partnering with 26 schools. We currently work in Lurgan, Portadown and central Craigavon, but the work will soon be expanding into Armagh and Banbridge. We deeply value your support as we seek to support young people facing difficult life circumstances.

PS: I hope to do the course in under an hour, pretty slow but we all have to start somewhere!
