Craigavon Business Forum 22 February – ‘Financial Support Available for New Recruits’

Tuesday, February 19th, 2013

The next meeting of the Craigavon Business Forum is on Friday 22 February at 7.45am in the CIDO Innovation Centre at Carn, new members are welcome.

This month we have two speakers from the Department of Employment and Learning, Clare Mooney and John Mallon, who will outline the considerable support and subsidies available to employers.

There has never been more support available and we at McCleary & Company have recently employed a Trainee Accounting Technician through one of their schemes.  Our candidate is a university graduate but we are still getting considerable help with his first year’s salary and training costs.  The whole process was relatively painless and easy.  I believe it is an area that all employers should consider, I’m sure that a lot of available support is missed through a lack of knowledge.

If you are in business in the Craigavon area and would like to attend, please drop me an email, so I can include you in the numbers for Bacon Rolls!  This is a breakfast event and will finish at approximately 9.00am.
