Carrier Bag Levy for Northern Ireland

From 8 April 2013 Retailers in Northern Ireland will be required to charge at least 5p per single use carrier bags.  It is important to note that, unlike the Republic of Ireland, the levy will be applied to paper bags as well as plastic ones.
